MELVILLE, Long Island (WABC) — New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is proposing eliminating some railroad crossings as part of his planned $1 billion third track expansion to the LIRR’s main line between Floral Park and Hicksville.
Officials from villages along the Long Island Rail Road’s Main Line went to Gov.
