The LIRR Expansion Project has extended the registration deadline for its STEM Competition to March 6, 2019. Also, due to participant requests, the size of eligible groups has been increased: students may elect to work individually, in small groups or as an entire class.
The LIRR Expansion Project STEM Competition is open to students in grades 6 through 12 attending specific schools along the project corridor. Students wishing to participate should email STEM@mainlineep.com. Registrants will receive an enrollment form.
Competition participants will be asked to respond to a prompt through either a poster or video submission. Entrants will be judged based on grade level.
